Greetings from Chairman of the 66th Annual Meeting of JADR 2018

- To hold the 66th Annual Meeting of JADR 2018 in Sapporo –

Dear Craniofacial and Dental Scientists,

On behalf of the organizing committee and as Chairman of the 66th Annual Meeting of Japanese Association for Dental Research (JADR) 2018, I am delighted to welcome everyone to this meeting in Sapporo.

It is our great honor and pleasure to hold such a prestigious meeting in Sapporo. We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to Professor Kazuhisa Yamazaki, along with all our distinguished guests for their attendance and participation.

JADR has played important roles in global development of dental science in Japan. Although we should always focus on the clinics, sometimes we wander in a labyrinth of basic research. Accordingly, we have decided to designate “Back to the tangible - the symbiosis of basic research and clinical dentistry” as the main theme of this meeting.

The first snowfall is in October and by December the city is covered in snow in Sapporo. With activities such as skiing, a day trip to a hot spring, enjoying gourmet including Snow crab, Sushi, Genghis Khan BBQ, Miso ramen, Curry soup and so on.

We sincerely hope that this meeting will be of great benefit for you and provide a significant opportunity to work basic research and clinical dentistry symbiotically.
